Today on panzer-archeology.online we present Valentine from Warta river… The Valentine tank was in the Warta from January 1945, when the ice broke under it by the time of the war. The tank was excavated in 2012. The Red Army received about 2,000 Valentine tanks from the Allies. So far, only three machines of this type, which can be viewed in museums, are available online. However, none of them took part in the fighting. The tank from Warta is therefore unique in the world. In order to retrieve the Valentine tank, the divers used compressed water to blow down the wreckage. Preliminary inspection of the Valentine wreck indicates that it is in unexpectedly good condition.
